When we grow up, we try to avoid mistakes — even though they are inevitable. The way we learn things changes. Ego comes into play. We try to be perfect in everything we do.

But learning doesn’t happen that way. Learning happens when you are a beginner.

Do you remember how you learned many things as a child? We used to ask countless questions — often silly ones. We were curious. We didn’t care about the results or where we would apply our learnings. We simply enjoyed the process of learning.

When you want to learn something new, be that child again. Let go of your ego. Start with the basics. Experiment. Ask questions. Fail. Fail multiple times.

If you wait for the perfect time or try to do everything perfectly, you’ll never start. Just start. Enjoy the process of learning.

Be a curious learner.
